Makerbox

Welcome to the webpage of the GENERATION CODE Library Maker Box. Librarians should discover themselves what the content of each Maker Box is about and this way learn how things work. We hope this builds confidence, but above all stimulates creativity & play and will hopefully ignite discussion about the role of maker culture and digital literacies in public libraries in Europe.

Inside the box you’ll find four projects related to maker culture and digital literacies in public libraries. These projects, or recipes, are based on the digital literacies framework of Doug Belshaw, as described in his book The Essential Elements of Digital Literacies.
